Wrong Report Date

 

Description

The date on the Midmark reports do not match the actual time the test was performed.  This article describes the process for verifying and correcting the incorrect date.

 

Solution

Step 1:

If using the 'IQmark Diagnostic Workstation' software, validate the correct date format is selected. (i.e. mm/dd/yyyy, dd/mm/yyyy, etc.)

Click on the 'IQmark Diagnostic Workstation' icon on the computer desktop > 'Configuration' button.

If using an interfaced/integrated EMR application, contact the software vendor to verify and locate any date format settings contained within the software.

 

Step 2:

Validate the time set on the computer is correct and update if necessary.

If the software is installed on a local computer, right-click on listed time on the bottom right hand corner of the screen > click 'Adjust Date/Time' > update date.

If the software is installed remotely and accessed via RDP connection or Citrix session, contact server administrator to update date.

 

Step 3:

Perform a diagnostic test to verify that the report date is now appearing correctly.
