Introducing the Veterinary Treatment Room Chase

Jul 24, 2012

The Treatment Chase is an architectural element designed to centralize and commonize workflow, improve foot traffic, and house plumbing and electrical connections. Through hundreds of hours of observation, research, and hands-on experiences from our casework team, we engineered an innovative solution from the ground up.

What is a Chase?

A chase is typically a centrally located column in the treatment room that allows tables, sinks, desks, and counter space to attach to it. This means that all of the work that takes place in a certain area can be streamlined while maximizing floor space. This improves efficiency and makes for a better workflow. In addition, a chase is typically hollow to allow for plumbing, electrical, and gas delivery to drop down from the ceiling or come up from the floor to allow easy access to hookups and give the room a clean, professional look.

Efficient and Aesthetic Treatment Solutions

We have internal designers and project coordinators who work with veterinarians and architects to turn simple blueprints into aesthetic, efficient room layouts. Tell us what you are trying to accomplish with the space you have, and we will use our years of expertise to design a treatment room that improves your workflow, lasts for years, and appeals to your discerning eye for design.

What's different about the Midmark chase solution?

We set out to introduce a product that is a true answer to the problems our research highlighted with the custom-built solutions that are predominant in veterinary hospital design. First of all, it was a requirement to make our solution simple to order, install, and service. We did this by constructing the chase from a 12 gauge steel frame that is designed to act as a mount for our equipment in virtually any combination you can imagine. This allows the chase to integrate seamlessly with our  caseworktables, Matrx anesthesia, VetPro dental delivery and  digital xray systems.

Secondly, this solution is designed to grow with the needs of your practice. All of the equipment you see pictured can be added on the first day your hospital opens or a few years from now, should you decide to expand. All of the mounting structure is built into every chase, so it truly is a customizable solution that will fit the needs of a variety of treatment rooms.

All the Benefits of Midmark Casework

The Midmark chase was designed with all of the thought and expertise that goes into all Midmark modular casework - durability, sustainability, ease of installation, and incredible tax savings. From the completely sealed panels designed to keep moisture out and eliminate harmful VOC's while still allowing easy internal access, to the one-piece structure that takes four bolts to install yet is strong enough to mount hundreds of pounds of medical equipment, this product was designed from the ground up to be the treatment solution that makes ordering, installing, servicing, and practicing medicine more efficient.
