Freight Damage, Returns + Shipping

 

Freight Damage

It is the consignee’s responsibility to count & inspect upon receiving. Merchandise arriving with external damage should be described on Proof of Delivery, Delivery Receipt, or Bill of Lading. In case of concealed damage, consignee must contact the carrier within 5 days after receipt and claims for damage instituted.

Return of Merchandise (Animal Health + Dental Divisions) 

Authorization must be obtained for the return of any item. If return is authorized, transportation charges must be prepaid. Items returned for credit are subject to a charge to cover inspection, damage in transit, reconditioning, and repacking. Please contact your Midmark Dealer for return authorization.

Return of Merchandise (Medical Division)

Authorization must be obtained for the return of any item. If return is authorized, transportation charges must be prepaid. Risk of loss with respect to returned goods shall remain with purchaser until receipt by Midmark. Items returned for credit are subject to charge of 25% or more to cover inspection, damage in transit, reconditioning and repackaging. Items may be returned within 6 months (except Service Parts within 90 days) from the original ship date if in a good, unused condition. RMA # should be written on the outside of the package. 

Note: Certain items are non-returnable: Synthesis® Cabinetry, Midmark Workstations, Discontinued Items or Parts, Custom or Non-standard Colors, Service Upholstery and Service Parts if value is less than $50.  

Return of Merchandise for Diagnostic Products

Authorization must be obtained for the return of any item. If return is authorized, transportation charges must be prepaid. Risk of loss with respect to returned goods shall remain with purchaser until receipt by Midmark. Items returned for credit are subject to charge of 25% or more to cover inspection, damage in transit, reconditioning and repackaging. Items may be returned within 30 days (except Service Parts within 90 days) from the original ship date if it is in its original packaging, unused and unopened. RMA # should be written on the outside of the package. 

Note: Certain items are non-returnable: Consumables e.g. Electrodes, Prep Kits, Pneumotach Mouthpieces, Temperature Probe Covers, Nose Clips, Thermal Paper, Software, All Disposable Items and Items value less than $50 per. 

Special Shipping Requirements

The following services are available to enhance the delivery for our customers.

Lift Gate/Ramp

Enables delivery without a loading dock. DOES NOT include inside delivery.

Inside Delivery

Product is transported from trailer to inside of the building.

Set up + Trash Removal

Removal of product from skid, set in place of use, installation of upholstery and removal of packaging materials and skid (not available on all products – call Midmark Customer Service for details).

Stair Carry

Move product up or down stairs if no service elevator is available.
