VERSAILLES, Ohio, May 9, 2024 — Midmark Corp., a leading medical solutions provider focused on the design of the clinical environment to improve the delivery of care, today announced the launch of a new medical page on midmark.com designed to enhance the buying experience for its U.S. federal government customers.

The new web page allows Midmark government customers to view contract information and medical equipment available to their agency and learn more about authorized government partners and distributors. A simple “Request a Quote” feature provides assistance on how to buy from an authorized distribution partner.

Additional resources available include:

—    List of available Midmark products.

—    REVIT files for architectural use and that are available free for download.

—    Design resource links to explore styling options, including color, finishes and other elements.

—    Continuing Education Courses for nurses and allied health professionals.

—    VA federal supply vendor show schedule.

In addition, government customers can view virtual and in-person design resources, which take a lean design approach. Midmark also offers designs that support the VA Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) model, which examines the process of care delivery from the veteran’s perspective to design medical facilities that support a patient-centered healthcare experience. This approach provides a framework by which design teams can prioritize and align purpose and intended outcomes.

“The PACT Space model is changing the way veterans experience healthcare from space allocation, planning and design to engagement with the clinical team,” Jamie Edwards, corporate accounts executive, U.S. Federal Government, Midmark said. “Midmark is committed to helping the VA transform to a patient-centric healthcare experience for our veterans. This new resource makes it easier for VAs to do business with Midmark by offering exam room layouts and products that meet the VA PACT standard as well as products and distributors that are available within their agency’s contract.”

The PACT Space Module standardizes spaces where veteran patient care is delivered to facilitate operational efficiency and future flexibility. For example, patient care rooms are designed as universal rooms that can perform examinations, consultations and treatments as needed. The room’s function can easily be changed by simply rolling in a mobile cart, utilizing workstations, such as the Midmark 6212 Flat Panel PC Workstation, or changing the furniture or equipment. With minor modifications, the same room can be used by all patient care providers.
