VERSAILLES, Ohio, Sept. 1, 2023 — Midmark Corp., a leading medical solutions provider focused on the design of the clinical environment to improve the delivery of care, today introduced the Midmark Digital Vital Signs Device now available with the Exergen TemporalScanner.
The Midmark Digital Vital Signs Device is designed to provide automated capture of blood pressure, temperature, SpO2 and pulse rate readings and import data directly to the EMR, saving time and eliminating manual transcription errors. The device is now offered with the Exergen TemporalScanner that replaces the previously offered temperature device. Clinical studies have found that the temporal temperature is the preferred method for accuracy, faster temperature acquisitions, reduced opportunity for cross-contamination and lower costs.

The Midmark Digital Vital Signs Device is designed to work as a standalone device, connect to Midmark IQmanager through a computer or seamlessly connect to EMR systems. Each Midmark Digital Vital Signs Device comes standard with an Exergen TemporalScanner for capturing temporal measurements and is now offered in the following two models, with an upgrade kit available to upgrade previous models:
